Trust For Public Land Releases ParkScore Research

The Trust for Public Land (www.tpl.org) has released its latest research showing the largest park systems in the United States, along with a whole lot of other data regarding the country’s park systems.

We’ve compiled some of the data into a chart, showing the largest park systems in relation to that city’s population. We’ve also included how that specific city ranks when it comes to the largest cities in the United States, according to the latest U.S. Census figures. We’ve also included the number of playgrounds per 10,000 residents for each city listed.

For the full report and all the data on the Trust for Public Land’s research, go to the organization’s website (www.tpl.org) and on the main page go to the “Research” button and click on the drop down listing and go to “ParkScore.”
